We're seeking a talented Software Engineer to join our AI team, specifically focusing on data collection and model training operations. As part of this role, you'll contribute to building high-quality datasets at petabyte-scale and low cost, leveraging a seamless integration of infrastructure, engineering, and research.

• Identify and procure new sources of high-quality audio data, integrating them into our ingestion pipeline
• Manage and extend our cloud infrastructure for ingestion pipeline operations, utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Terraform
• Collaborate closely with our research scientists to drive innovation and improve data quality, scale, and cost-effectiveness
• Work with the AI team and leadership to develop a comprehensive dataset roadmap, empowering Speechify's next-generation consumer and enterprise products

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong focus on data collection and infrastructure management
• Proven expertise in cloud infrastructure management (GCP), Terraform, and large-scale data processing
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a distributed setting
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
