Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the conditions under which BullSplit may or may not issue refunds for payments made on our platform. Please read this carefully before making any purchase.

1. General Policy

BullSplit operates a digital services platform providing job listings, CV building tools, recruiter dashboards, and premium membership features. All payments made on BullSplit are for digital services that are consumed immediately or near-immediately upon purchase.

As a general rule, all sales on BullSplit are final and non-refundable, except in the specific circumstances outlined in this policy. By making a payment on our platform, you acknowledge and accept this policy.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, inability to use a feature, or dissatisfaction with recruitment outcomes, as these are inherent risks of a marketplace platform.

2. Job Seeker Premium Plans

BullSplit offers premium membership plans to job seekers that unlock features such as CV visibility boosts, ATS score checks, priority application badges, and contact unlocks. These are digital service plans with the following refund terms:

  • 7-Day Refund Window: If you purchase a premium plan and have not used any premium feature (e.g., unlocked contacts, run an ATS check, or downloaded a premium CV), you may request a refund within 7 days of purchase.
  • No Refund After Feature Use: Once any premium feature is accessed or consumed, the plan is considered fully delivered and no refund will be issued.
  • No Refund for Unsatisfactory Results: Premium membership improves your profile visibility; it does not guarantee interview calls, job offers, or recruiter responses. Lack of results is not grounds for a refund.
  • Plan Upgrades: If you upgrade from one premium tier to another, the unused value of your previous plan will not be refunded or credited.

3. Recruiter Job Posting Fees

Recruiters pay a fee (currently β‚Ή99 per job) to publish a single job listing on BullSplit. The following refund rules apply:

  • No Refund After Publication: Once a job listing is activated and made live on the platform, the posting fee is non-refundable, regardless of the number of applications received or the quality of applicants.
  • Draft Stage Refund: If payment was made but the job was never activated (remains in draft indefinitely due to a technical error on our end), a refund may be requested within 7 days by contacting support with your order ID.
  • Job Removal by Platform: If we remove your job listing due to a violation of our Job Posting Rules (see Terms & Conditions), no refund will be issued.
  • Job Removal by Recruiter: If you choose to close or remove a job listing before its 30-day active period ends, no partial or pro-rated refund will be provided for the remaining days.
  • Expired Listings: Job listings automatically expire after 30 days. Republishing an expired listing requires a new payment. We do not offer extensions or refunds for expired listings.

4. Monthly Recruiter Plans

The Monthly Recruiter Plan (currently β‚Ή499/month) provides unlimited job postings and enhanced applicant management features for a 30-day period.

  • No Refund After Activation: Once the monthly plan is activated, no refund is available for the unused portion of the month, regardless of how many jobs were posted.
  • Cancellation Effect: Cancelling a monthly plan stops renewal (where auto-renewal is implemented). The plan remains active until the end of the paid period.
  • Non-Renewal: Monthly plans on BullSplit are currently one-time purchases (not auto-renewing). You must manually renew to continue after the 30-day period.
  • Pro-Rating: We do not pro-rate monthly plan fees. If you purchase a plan and use it for only a few days, you will not receive a refund for unused days.

5. Featured Job Add-Ons

Featured job add-ons (currently β‚Ή199 per listing) promote a specific job listing to appear at the top of relevant search results and category pages.

  • Non-Refundable: Featured job fees are entirely non-refundable once the boost is applied to a listing.
  • Impression Guarantee: We do not guarantee a specific number of impressions, clicks, or applications from featured listings. Results vary based on job category, location, and market demand.
  • Featured Period: Featured status applies for a fixed period as specified at the time of purchase. There are no extensions or rollovers.

6. Failed & Duplicate Payments

We understand that technical issues can sometimes result in failed or duplicate transactions. Here's how we handle these:

Failed Payments

If your payment fails (e.g., card declined, net banking timeout, UPI failure) but your bank account is debited:

  • In most cases, the amount is automatically reversed by your bank or payment gateway within 5–7 business days.
  • If the reversal does not occur within 7 business days, contact us at support@bullsplit.in with your transaction reference number and bank statement screenshot.
  • We will coordinate with Razorpay (our payment processor) to investigate and resolve the issue.

Duplicate Payments

If you are charged twice for the same order (confirmed by payment gateway records):

  • The duplicate charge will be fully refunded to your original payment method within 7–10 business days.
  • Report duplicate payments immediately at support@bullsplit.in with both transaction IDs.
  • We will verify against our payment gateway logs before processing the refund.

7. Refund Eligibility Criteria

A refund may be considered only if all of the following conditions are met:

  • The request is submitted within the applicable refund window (7 days for seeker premium plans; immediately for duplicate/failed payments).
  • The purchased service has not been used, accessed, or consumed in any way.
  • The refund request is submitted via email to support@bullsplit.in with your registered email address, order ID, and reason for the request.
  • The payment was not made as part of a promotional or discounted offer (unless the offer explicitly states refund eligibility).
  • The account is in good standing and has not violated BullSplit's Terms & Conditions.

Meeting these criteria does not guarantee a refund β€” each request is reviewed individually by our team.

8. Non-Refundable Situations

The following situations are explicitly not eligible for refunds under any circumstances:

  • Change of mind or no longer needing the service after purchase.
  • Dissatisfaction with the number or quality of job applications received.
  • Failure to receive a job offer or placement.
  • Inability to use the platform due to your own device, browser, or internet issues.
  • Account suspension or termination due to violation of our Terms & Conditions.
  • Accidental purchase (you are responsible for reviewing your order before confirming payment).
  • Premium plans purchased during a promotional period at a discounted rate.
  • Services partially or fully consumed before a refund request.
  • Requests made after the applicable refund window has closed.
  • Job listings removed for policy violations.

9. Cancellation Policy

Before Payment: You may abandon a payment at any time before confirming the transaction. No charge will be applied.

After Payment – Job Seeker Premium: You may cancel your premium plan at any time by contacting support. Cancellation stops any future renewal (if applicable) but does not entitle you to a refund for the current billing period unless you are within the 7-day unused-service window.

After Payment – Recruiter Plans: Recruiter plans are one-time purchases and do not auto-renew. There is nothing to "cancel" once a plan is purchased β€” it simply expires at the end of its period.

Job Listing Cancellation: You may close a job listing from your recruiter dashboard at any time. Closing a listing removes it from public view but does not entitle you to any refund.

Account Deletion: If you delete your BullSplit account, any active paid plans or job listings will be immediately cancelled with no refund for the unused period.

10. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, follow these steps:

  1. Email us at support@bullsplit.in with the subject line: "Refund Request – [Your Order ID]".
  2. Include the following in your email:
    • Your full name and registered email address on BullSplit.
    • The Razorpay Order ID or Payment ID (found in your payment confirmation email).
    • The date of purchase and the amount paid.
    • The reason for your refund request.
    • Any supporting evidence (e.g., screenshots of duplicate charge, bank statement for failed payment).
  3. Our team will review your request and respond within 3 business days.
  4. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method.

Refund requests submitted through any other channel (social media, chat, phone) will not be considered valid unless directed back to the email process above.

11. Processing Timeline

Once a refund is approved by BullSplit:

  • Credit/Debit Cards: 5–10 business days (depending on your bank's processing time).
  • UPI (PhonePe, Google Pay, Paytm, etc.): 1–3 business days.
  • Net Banking: 5–7 business days.
  • Wallets (Paytm Wallet, etc.): 1–3 business days.

These timelines begin from the date BullSplit initiates the refund via Razorpay and are subject to the payment gateway's and your bank's processing schedules. BullSplit is not responsible for delays caused by banks or payment gateways.

You will receive an email confirmation when the refund is initiated. If you do not receive the refund within the expected timeframe, please contact your bank before escalating to us.

12. Payment Disputes & Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly at support@bullsplit.in before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer. Most issues can be resolved quickly through direct communication.

If you file a chargeback without first contacting us:

  • Your BullSplit account may be immediately suspended pending investigation.
  • Any active job listings or premium benefits may be revoked.
  • We reserve the right to provide transaction evidence to the payment gateway and your bank to contest the chargeback.
  • If a chargeback is found to be fraudulent or filed in bad faith, we may pursue legal remedies.

We take payment disputes seriously and will cooperate fully with Razorpay and financial institutions to resolve legitimate disputes fairly.

13. Partial Refunds

BullSplit does not typically offer partial refunds. Services are priced as complete packages, and partial usage does not entitle you to a proportional refund.

In exceptional circumstances (e.g., a significant platform outage that materially prevented you from using a service you paid for), BullSplit may, at its sole discretion, offer account credits or a partial refund. Such decisions are made case-by-case and are not a guaranteed right.

14. Platform Rights

BullSplit reserves the right to:

  • Approve or reject any refund request at our sole discretion, even if the request technically meets the eligibility criteria.
  • Offer account credits instead of monetary refunds in certain situations.
  • Modify pricing, plans, or features at any time without obligation to refund existing subscribers for the change.
  • Terminate a paid plan without refund if the user violates our Terms & Conditions.
  • Update this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time with notice on this page.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing, or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.

Continued use of BullSplit after a policy update constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
